Two months old!

I can't believe Keegan is already two months old! Time flies WAY too fast! These are some things that Keegan likes to do:
  • Loves to smile at Mom and Dad, the animal mobile above his crib, the animal wall hanging above the changing table and anybody or anything else that will smile at him.
  • Loves the bath and the shower.
  • Definitely doesn't mind being naked.
  • Likes to hide milk in funny places. Since we have gotten good at checking the creases in his neck he has decided to hide it in his armpits and his ears. Yuck!
  • Loves to go outside and feel the breeze on his face.
  • Likes to be in constant motion, in the car/stroller/front pack/etc.
  • Likes to eat. (Finally!)

Keegan and His Dog

I was trying to get video of Keegan lifting his head during tummy-time and our dog Abby thought she needed to participate. Sine I was trying to shoo the dog away, I didn't see the big smile on his face until I watched the video.

Sleeping soundly

Keegan slept in his crib last night! We were worried about the transition from the bassinet in our room to the crib because we thought he woke up a lot at night. We realized that it is US that wakes up a lot at night and worries about him. At every grunt, sigh, moan, or movement we would jump up and turn on the vibration on the bassinet to make sure that he didn't start crying. It ends up that he is just grunting, sighing, moaning or moving just because and he really isn't waking up! Duh! So, all-in-all. He slept great last night, in his crib, only waking up to eat every 3 to 4 hours. I didn't sleep so great because I kept trying to hear his breathing over the monitor. Oh well. Hopefully tonight I can relax more.

Baby Blessing

Sunday April 13th Keegan received his blessing in church.

These are 5 of the 7 men who stood in the blessing circle (Uncle Perry, Cousin Doug, Matt, Uncle Lance and Cousin Mike).

Namesake

"Little Lance" and "Big Lance"

Uncle Lance spent an entire day traveling to make it from New York for Keegan's Blessing.

Four Generations

Keegan is very lucky to have all four of his Great Grandmothers. This weekend he was able to meet two of them.

Four Generations of Porters
Four Generations of Hubers
(Great Grandma Huber and Cousin Tess came out from Minnesota)

...

I don't even know what to say about this. I am afraid of what might happen if I leave Dad and Keegan alone...

Bath time!

Little rocker?

I think Matt was a little bummed when Keegan was born with hair, since he can't really wear his "Bald is Beautiful" onsie. But now that Matt sees that he can put his hair in a mohawk he is much happier! :) Oh dear.

First "playdate"

Keegan had his first "playdate" yesterday with his buddies Jake M. and Keegan B. at Hacienda Colorado. Unfortunately (fortunately), all three boys slept through it.
