Cutest Kid in the World

It's hard having a kid this cute! It's a wonder how I get anything done at all! These are a few pictures from just the last two days.

Even the cutest kid in the world has to sleep every once and while. But, he is pretty cute doing that too.

Minnesota (part 2)

We had such a great trip to Minnesota. Keegan was an absolute angel and his Great Grandmothers were throughly impressed with him, and he gave them huge smiles every time he saw them. Keegan learned a few new tricks while we were out there, including sitting up and sucking on his toes. What a goofy kid!

Right now Keegan and I are in Minnesota vising my two Grandmothers. It has been a very relaxing trip so far, but we are having a good time visiting with family, seeing some new sights and learning new tricks.

Porter Family Reunion 2008

August 9th was the 2008 Porter Family Reunion up at the Porter Cabin in Colorado Springs. We ad a lot of fun playing games, taking pictures and just spending time together. All of Matt's siblings were there with their families. Here are just a few pictures:

I was at my parents house and they had a box of my old stuff that they dredged up from the basement and wanted me to take home. I opened it up and started sorting through a bunch of old letters and cards that I had in there. I was getting ready just to toss the whole stack when I came across an unopened letter from my Grandma Huber. It is from Christmas/New Years of 1999/2000!! It even had $40 in it! What a find! Thanks Grandma (8 years late)!

The letter is funny because it is talking about getting into college.
The picture is sweet because three of the people in the picture are now deceased. My Grandpa Huber (far left) actually passed away a couple of months after this picture was taken, and Helen Jane and Morrie (far right) passed away in 2007 (I think). They are all greatly missed!

First Haircut!

Can you believe it? Keegan got his first haircut today, at 5 months!!! He was very well behaved and he looks like a little man now.

All done!

5 months old!

Keegan is five months old today! I can't believe how much growing he has done in just five months. These days it seems like Keegan does something new every day. This month, Keegan:

• started rolling over (front to back only)
• started sleeping better, and eating less at night
• will belly laugh at Mom and Dad anytime you ask
• grabs anything and put it in his mouth
• started eating rice cereal
• found his feet and likes to play with them
• still loves to read
• still loves the bath/shower
