Fun Family Weekend

This weekend my Uncle Bill, Aunt Jill and Cousins Tess and Peter came to visit us. We had a lot of fun hanging out with them, and of course they had a great time playing with Keegan.

Kids are tough

Poor Keegan was clobbered by a swing yesterday at the park. He's is such a trooper since 5 minutes after it happened he was done crying and back to his normal self, although it didn't look too good.
But today he is just fine, with barely a bruise! I wish I bounced back that quickly!

HAPPY ANNIVERSARY!

I can't believe Matt and I have been married for 6 years! How did the time fly by so fast? Life is completely different than it was 6 years ago. We look back and think how simple things were when we just had school and work. But we wouldn't change a thing to our current lives. We are so happy with our little family and excited about the possibilities the future holds for all of us.

One more

Here is a family shot from the Luau. Thanks again Val!

Little Flirt

I guess Keegan was trying to kiss the other little girls his age at church today. We're in trouble!

Luau

Our ward had a summer kick-off Luau on Friday, and it was AWESOME! We have a Samoan family in our ward and their relatives live nearby and all of the kids are amazing hula dancers. It was such a great time!

Keegan dressed in his Hawaiian shirt, and played with the traditional sticks that warriors use for hand-eye coordination.

Traditional Hawaiian, Samoan and Tongan dancing.

The night even ended with some fire dancing. How cool is that?!?!

The pictures, except for the ones of KP, are from Valerie's blog, she was also one of the amazing coordinators of the event. (My camera takes horrible indoor and night pictures) Great job Val and Courtney!!

15 month check-up

(Playing and climbing at the Childrens Museum)

(Silly Octopus)

Keegan had his 15 month check-up today. When did he grow up so fast? How is he 15 months old, when it seems like yesterday that I gave birth to him? He is such a joy in our life, and is constantly trying to make us laugh. Right now he loves to climb on anything that he can (tables, chairs, toilets, toys, etc), he can tell you what a dog, lion, cow, snake, fish, truck says, he is deciding what kinds of food he likes and dislikes, and is very good at communicating his dislikes.

His stats are:
Height: 30.25in (30th percentile)
Weight: 21lbs 8oz (15th percentile)
Head: 19.3in (95th percentile)

He is slowly losing percentages on his height and weight, so we were told that we can try to "fatten him up." I think that is hilarious! It's so funny to think about needing to fatten him up, when both Matt and I are trying to watch our weight. But Keegan will now get milkshakes on a regular basis, cheese sauce on his vegetables and other fun things to eat.
