I know exactly what you mean! Before Kaalam came along, I was a reasonable, emotionally stable woman. Now I can't read "Guess How Much I Love You" without crying. I can't sing the "I love you" song from Veggie Tales without tearing up. He's made me an emotional, lovey wreck, and I love it. I had no idea motherhood would feel this way!
I am so glad you wrote this because I too have felt this way about my own children. Lucas everyday shows me something else about him I love and the fact that Bridget is more like me than she will ever know makes me melt too! How could you not love Keegan anyway? I just yesterday was boasting to Marlynn Avery how beautiful and handsome your son was and you would think he was mine how I was going on! :) Hahaha that sorta sounds creepy but I can't handle how handsome he is and I couldn't help but share! :)
He's getting so big, I love his hair! It is true though, there is no way to prepare yourself for baby love. It is overwhelming, but gives such an understanding, doesn't it? I love enjoying other people's kids now because I know how thrilled their parents are over them. I don't love taking care of other people's kids, but when I do, I love them like I'd want mine to be loved. Kids are so special!
